Once again a great podcast! It falls in line with the deep state well. The lamps discussed in this cast are part of the industry standards. Like mentioned , LED “replacements” must be compliant and not require the user to perform a deep investigation of what is already installed( ballast/driver etc) to be used safely. The distribution of light from onmi distribution sources like tubes is a challenge for LED to mimic. Until a real truely functional replacement is created a phased removal of lamp typs is sensible. The high use T(N) and Spiral Edison based consumer lights have been reasonably replaced. Specialty lamps no so much. The lighting industry must require standards that are universal and applicable accross the use spectrum.
